 The TPMC917-10 Interface supports the following functions: 

Function 02 - Read Input Status. 

Function 03 - Read Holding Registers.

 Function 04 - Read Input Registers. 

Function 06 - Preset Single Holding Register. 

Function 16 - Preset Multiple Holding Registers.

It should be noted that MODBUS 'broadcast' commands are not supported and will be ignored.

 It is recommended that the host computer system should, at a minimum, be programmed to use Function 02 to collect alarm and status data from all channels of the TPMC917-10 Control System. Function 06 or 16 must also be implemented if a facility to reset alarms is required. Once properly configured and operating correctly, the MODBUS Facility requires no further attention and therefore has no user controls.
