Short description Serial interface modules of the MIV0101-1-B1 series are used as an option directly in a CP 23x or in a CP 26x CPU module. They enable the connection of an RS 232, RS 422/485-A or Current Loop serial interface. This interface operates in fullduplex mode with a maximum transmission rate of 115,000 baud. The Current Loop interface (MIV0101-1-B1) functions both for transmitter as well as for the receiver in active or passive operation. The operating mode is switched on the side on the PCB via DIP switches.
