1、 Product Overview

The VMIC VMIVME-5576 Reflective Memory Interface Module is a high-performance data sharing solution that allows for high-speed data sharing between up to 256 independent systems (nodes). It is based on fiber channel technology, providing high-speed and stable data transmission, suitable for system environments that require real-time data sharing and communication.

High speed data transmission:

Supports data transfer rates of up to 6.2 Mbytes/s (without redundant transmission).

In redundant transmission mode, the data transmission speed is 3.2 Mbyte/s.

Large capacity storage:

Each reflective memory board can be configured with onboard SDRAM ranging from 256 KB to 1 MB.

Local SRAM provides fast read access time to stored data.

Software transparency:

The data transmission between nodes is software transparent and does not require I/O overhead.

Sending and receiving FIFOs buffer data during peak data rates, optimizing CPU and bus performance.

Scalability:

Supports network configuration with up to 256 nodes.

The maximum distance between nodes can reach 2000 meters.

Error detection and redundant transmission:

Support redundant transmission mode and suppress errors.

High speed and easy-to-use fiber optic network (170 Mbaud serial).

Global data sharing:

The data written to a node's memory will also be written to the memory of all nodes on the network.

Any node on the network can use a single command to generate interrupts at any other node or all network nodes on the network.
