　　Defining DataSet Peripherals in AC 800M The configuration of the CI869 hardware unit in the hardware tree in Control Builder defines the AF 100 bus with AC 800M controller. The following hardware units under CI869 are used to configure AF 100: • AF 100 Station with DSPs • DSP Group • My DSP Group • My AF 100 Station Status • AF 100 Station The hardware units AF 100 Station with DSPs, DSP Group, and My DSP Group, holds the DSPs. For information about AF 100 Station and My AF 100 Station Status, see Station supervision in AC 800M on page 154.

AF 100 Station with DSPs

   The AF 100 Station with DSPs is an organization unit for up to 50 DSP Receive subunits. For each AF 100 Station with DSPs, a Station Status CDP is configured on the CI869 for supervision of a remote station on the bus. Its content is presented as Extended Status in the hardware editor of AF 100 Station with DSPs. The AF 100 Station with DSPs can be placed at position 1...80, and it can have receiving DSPs below it. The AF 100 Station with DSPs represents an AF 100 station on the bus with the station number equal to the position number in the hardware tree. It organizes the DSPs that are received from that station where the Major DSP ID number is equal to the station's Station number. The position numbers for the AF 100 Stations with DSPs represent both the station number for these stations and the Major DSP IDs.

DSP Group 

  DSP Group is a hardware unit for organizing up to 50 DSP subunits (both receiving and sending), with the same Major DSP ID. DSP Group is similar to the AF 100 Station with DSPs, but DSP Group does not cause CI869 to configure any Station Status CDP. The position number [1…80] gives the Major DSP ID for the DSP hardware units below DSP Group. The DSP Group is used to organize DSPs with the same Major ID. It shall be used if the Major ID of the DSPs is not the same as the Station number of the sending station. When DSP Group is used, the AF 100 Station hardware unit can be used to retrieve the station status CDP for the AF 100 Stations on the bus.
