　The Advant Controller 70 Station DB element is a special case of the AF 100 Station which is used when the station is an Advant Controller 70.Advant Controller 110/160 The AF 100 Station data base element specifies a general type of station connected to Advant Fieldbus 100. It must support services to report diagnostic information in the same way as any Advant Controller. If an Advant Controller 110/160 is connected, additional information regarding redundancy or multiprocessing can be found in Related Documentation.To reach status information of other stations connected to the bus, the DB elements AF 100 Station, Advant Controller 70 or Advant Controller 110 is used.The hardware unit, AF 100 Station with DSPs, represents an AF 100 station on the AF 100 bus. The station, for example, can be an Advant Controller (AC 160 or AC 400). The position number for the AF 100 Station with DSPs represents both the station number for this station and the Major DSP ID.

The station, for example, can be an Advant Controller (AC 160 or AC 400). For each AF 100 Station, a receiving Station Status CDP is configured on the CI869 for supervision of a remote station on the bus. Its content is presented as part of Unit Status in the hardware editor of AF 100 Station. The AF 100 Station can be placed at positions 4001 to 4080. The AF 100 Station is only a representation of an AF 100 station on the bus with the station number equal to the two last digits of the position number (1..80) in the hardware tree. It is not possible to add DSP Receive and DSP Send hardware units to the AF 100 Station hardware unit.

Unit Status for AF 100 Station and AF 100 Station with DSPs 

  The unit status corresponding to the contents of the station status CDP are displayed under the Unit Status tab of the respective hardware configuration editor. Table 37 provides the details of the Unit Status corresponding to the two hardware units – AF 100 Station and AF 100 Station with DSPs. The AF 100Station is recommended to be used if the DSPs use Major IDs that are not related to station numbers on the bus. If the Major IDs of the DSPs are equal to the AF 100 Station number, it is recommended to use the hardware type AF 100 Station with DSPs. Figure 62 shows a hardware tree configuration under CI869 with the AF 100 Station hardware units at positions 4001 and 4022.
