Group display (Fig.2.16) The group display can be used to show either – normalized representations of up to 56 loops by summarizing the operating states or – free representations (Fig.2.15) using simple symbols, alphanumeric characters of digital displays or – a combination of normalized and free representations. The working field on the screen is subdivised into a grid of 56 location numbers:The process–related group name specified in the GP block and the block name are automatically shown in the group display. A group display is selected by entering the group display number via the process communication keyboard. The following process communication keyboard keys must be depressed to select group display 13 (GP 13)

Area display

The area display gives a normalized representation of up to 56 groups or free representations or a combination of normalized and free representations using colored – symbols – alphanumeric characters – digital displays. The work area on the screen is subdivised into a grid with 56 location numbers (Fig,2.18). The area display is selected via the process communication keyboard. The following keys must be depressed to select the area display.
