The system subroutine SYSTEM.PBIL is to be used for a program–controlled loop display selection. The images can be displayed on one or two VDUs. The program may be called by an TML program. However, if BE mode is switched on, loop displays can only be selected if SYSTEM.PBIL is called from a CHECK program. The operator position must be used where the CHECK program was started.

If the BE mode is not activated, loop displays can only be selected via SYSTEM.PBIL if p3 < 0 or if p3 is not transferred. The loop display of block p1 is then output according to the presettings made at the operator position in p2. The error codes p4 and p5 are set for operator positions 1 and 2.

In BE mode, loop displays are only output 

if p3 > 0. If p3 > 0 the error codes p4 and p5 are identical and the operator position code p2 is irrelevant because the loop display is always selected on the operator position on which operator inputs were made in BE mode. The subroutine SYSTEM.PBIL must be called from a CHECK program. Yet, if the subroutine SYSTEM.PBIL is called by another program and p3 > 0, it runs as if p3 = 0. p3 indicates the internal element number of the operator–accessible parameter of the block p1 which appears at the first position in the virtual keyboard on the PBT. The operator–accessible parameters whose internal element numbers follow the element numbers specified in p3 are faded in afterwards. Hence, SYSTEM.PBIL does not only replace the operator inputs GP; and BE; as well as the loop selection of p1 but possibly also a TE;operation. p3 = 1 results in the same keyboard assignment as the BE;operation.

SYSTEM.PGE 

The system subroutine SYSTEM.PGE is used to make program–controlled device settings. It corresponds – though with limitations – to the operation “GE, loggingdevice, logtype;”. Yet only the log types “alarm” (1), “operator input message” (2) and “I&C alarm” (3) are permissible.
