Central acknowledgement enable 

All listed acknowledgement instructions can also be executed – likewise via the bus – in other systems. The operator input (“QF...;”) must then be preceded by a bus identifier. Pending messages are not acknowledged. The log only contains the message text of the error number selected via “errorno” or a sorted area of selected error numbers (from errorno1 to errorno2) without date and time. The parameter “errorno1” must be smaller than “errorno2”.

Loading and Filing (Mini Floppy Disk Unit)

This instruction assigns a name of up to 16 characters to the diskette. Formatting deletes all stored data and re–sectors the diskette. If the same name is to be assigned to various diskettes, it need only be entered for the first. The instruction “FORM;” accepts the name used for the previous diskette function (“FORM;” or “AR;”). The operator position may be used for operator inputs while the formatting process is running. “FD” is displayed in white on a red background in the centre of the message line on the monitor, indicating that formatting is in progress. This display disappears after formatting has been completed successfully
