Variable symbol set for printers

 Bar symbols can also be printed as replacement characters (as preset in the FC.ORPA); special replacement characters (according to the character set of the printer) can be defined in FC.ORPA. This FC.ORPA table is only used for output if GB.ORPA.223 has been set to 1. Output is activated via the “BI” function (cf. Chapter 4.1.1).The analog value of the output “Y” from the adder “1” is to be displayed as a vertical bar from top to bottom starting at line 2, column 10. Start–of–scale and full–scale values of output “Y”: 0 ... 100 The foreground of the bar is to be yellow, the background red. The cell “1” of the GB block “1” can be used as the existing binary variable for color mode instructions.

Alternative output of texts, characters of values

If the binary value whose element name has been defined is “1”, the output instructions 1 are executed. If the binary value is “0”, the output instructions 2 are executed. ZE defines the end of the alternative branch. Example: The following outputs are to be made depending on the binary value of cell 3 of GB block 1: Binary value “1“: the text “ON” is to be output starting at line 2, column 10 Binary value “0“: the text “OFF” is to be output starting at line 4, column 10
