The alarm S359 means that the program has sufficient stack area under normal conditions. Yet, a fault has occurred during this program sequence resulting in an I&C alarm. The I&C alarm can, however, not be generated since there is not enough stack area. The fault of the user program is due to an incorrect STE/MUX setting, interconnection to a deleted block, or reading of a variable which has not yet been written to (assignment code violated), etc. Both the error cause and the defective program cannot be determined. A stack overflow during standard operation is caused while a CHECK block is being processed. Troublehooting must start with this block. If the stack overflow occurs in either of the cycles 1 to 5, it results from the user program to be called or from programs that are to be processed after this call.
Utilization when addressing:
The LA auxiliary cell is also used for addressing blocks and data records. The required address is then loaded into an LA auxiliary cell in a certain program location.Remove the block specified from the processing sequence if there is a stack overflow in either of the cycles 1 to 5 because this block has a high priority in terms of fault processing which corrupts the time generation for system–internal reasons.
This header is mandatory for each function block.
“type” can be replaced by any name (4 alphanumeric characters, starting with a letter). The second line (TAKE...) is a data acceptance instruction which is explained in Chapter 5.7.2.2. The AS 235 operating system transfers the current block number to LA1. The SET instruction in the third line is used to preset the current (block) address. This ensures that always the data elements (e.g. .X or .Y) of the current block are processed.
Utilization as index:Elements, which have been declared as fields in NEDA, can be addressed inside a data block by constant or variable indices. The variable indices can be stored in auxiliary cells (see the following example), in cells of analog global data blocks or other analog elements of the preset data block (see next Chapter, Addressing).
