Text lines with ’az’ = t have been optimized with regard to trailing blanks, i.e. blanks are not transmitted. Character–oriented stop does not exist 

in an AS 235 subsystem, neither is an equivalent signal transmitted to the communication partner. The break status implemented at the printer interface after an ’inoperable’ message is not implemented at the PBT alphanumeric interface; thus the sole meaning of the line BREAK status is “disconnected”.Approximately 10 kbytes must be reserved in the main memory for the configuration uploading channel. This area is required for form editing. The interface program itself is stored in the system RAM

Data Interpretation 

Functions under NEDA All field elements contain the index representation, i.e. the number of field elements is mapped in the first element (as for string fields). A NEDA image consists of up to 29 lines. The first line contains the headline, the second line is a separating blank line (transfer using STX t LF ETX). The header line contains from X position = 0 The continuation code is always in position 63 for all outputs. The “maximum number of elements/total” is a special parameter which indicates the total number of elements (e.g. GA x = 120 elements) already on the first page. It is therefore not necessary to scroll to the last page to determine the number of pages. NEDA also represents the interconnection addresses to the controlled areas SAV, SBV.
