The functions LAB and ARB must be terminated before log off can be performed. Process control via bus configuration is not permitted. 

1. Operator control via a connected process communication keyboard is not permitted, and blocks the configuration channel. 

2. Process displays (selected via the configuration keyboard) are only transferred in black–and–white representation; colors and attributes are missing. Operator inputs are accepted and executed, however.

Configuration 

All AS 235 configuration instructions can be used without any restriction, including the instructions of the NEDA and NEMO compilers. As the target AS initiates a restart after the instructions “RSOF;” and “LOES;”, acknowledgement is not given after these instructions and the message F 494 will be issued after time–out. The bus configuration must subsequently be logged off and, if required, logged on again.

Loading and Filing 

The code words “LAB” and “ARB” are used for central loading and filing respectively. These procedures exchange data between the target AS and the floppy interface of the configuring AS. The same conditions as for standard operator inputs apply for both subsystems, i.e. diskettes may be loaded in any order, a diskette will, however, be rejected if it has already been loaded (F 434). Bus configuration is completed and a restart initiated in the target machine after the last diskette has been loaded. The “LAB” code word is only permitted in “STO”. The used AS system goes automatically to “STO” from system variants G01.05 or M01.05, then this AS will be load accordingly to the instruction.
