ABB DSTC 404 input interface module

The Trusted CI has a definition for entry in the I/O Connection table. For details on editing the table, please refer to PD-T8082. The definition contains no information for the application. The definition does not need to be entered into the I/O Connection table for the application to run.Six tri-coloured LEDs indicate data transfer activity on all Serial communications ports and both Ethernet ports. The LEDs flash red when responding and green when receiving. The Ethernet LEDs indicate steady green in the absence of a network connection (for 8151 up to rev H and 8151B up to rev B only)Steady green when the module is in the Active mode (application running, communications enabled).

Communications Ethernet

 Two tri-coloured LEDs indicate data transfer activity on all Serial communications ports and both Ethernet ports, however only green is used by the Ethernet ports. When Ethernet data is present, the Ethernet LEDs flash green in sync with the rate of the data being transmitted or received. During fast data transfers, the LED will appear to be solid green. The Ethernet LEDs are off in the absence of data transfer. Communications Serial Four tri-coloured LEDs indicate data transfer activity on all Serial communications ports. The LEDs flash red when transmitting data and green when receiving and amber when transmitting and receiving.(T8151B rev C onwards)

Fault Reporting

 The CI provides a module fault alarm on its Healthy LED, which indicates a module shutdown. No diagnostics are available via the module’s I/O complex equipment definition. Diagnostic variables are available for Modbus Master configurations as described in section 3.5. Detailed communications diagnostics are available via the command line interface diagnostics as described in section 5.4
