Woodward 5466-318 Serial Link Controller

Woodward 5466-318 is a core power supply module of the MicroNet digital control series, used to provide pre charging voltage and send regulating voltage to other modules in the MicroNet TMR core section. This module is designed by Woodward Inc. and is a core power supply module with Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR). This module can be used in non hazardous locations, Class I, Group A-B-C-D, and Zone 2 locations. This module is made of metal and has only one LED light on the front to indicate the power health status of the device. This module requires a 24V DC power supply, which comes from the MicroNet main power supply. After receiving power from the main MicroNet power supply, it will adjust the power to 10A or 5VDC until the rest of the core section. This 5466-318 module can be used in multiple sections. If installed in a location other than the above, potential errors may occur during operation.

The 5466-318 module is specifically designed to interface with other control system components and sensors in order to regulate the speed of engines. It features a microprocessor unit (MPU) that processes input signals from sensors and other control system components to determine the appropriate output signals to send to the engine control system.
