From the Phone Settings menu, you can review and/or change all settings that pertain to the phone. Some of these features include the display lighting, enabling the headset and handsfree auto answer intercom (HFAAI), automatic connection settings for voicemail, MWI cadence, ring volume, ring type, name of system phone book, DND shortcut, and settings related to coder-decoders (CODECs).

To remove the configured values 

(shown in parentheses after the setting name), select Clear Manual Settings. To change the current configured values, follow these steps: 1. Enter a new value in the corresponding field. 2. Select Save Manual Settings. Button Settings From the Button Settings menu, you can configure the line keys as do not disturb (DND) or as a new line appearance. Select the location of the line key first, then configure the type, label, and line.

BLF Settings 

From the BLF Settings menu, you can configure the phone to monitor status groups (defined using the SubsGrp.Uri parameter) on the NetVanta 7100 and automatically update the line keys accordingly. When status groups to which the phone is subscribed are updated using the NetVanta 7100, a list of busy lamp field (BLF) members is sent out to the phone. The BLF members are dynamically placed on line keys not occupied by Line or DND line keys. For more information on status groups, refer to the NetVanta 7100 Administrator’s Guide (ADTRAN’s Knowledge Base article 2292).When the phone is subscribed to multiple status groups, BLF members are placed on the line keys using the Option Number as a priority setting. For example, if the phone is subscribed to SubsGrp.Uri distribution@192.168.0.23 using Option Number 1 and SubsGrp.Uri sales@192.168.0.23 using Option Number 2, the BLF members of the distribution status group will be placed on unused line keys before the BLF members of the sales status group. To configure the BLF settings, select the Option Number first, then select the subscription type and subscription line, and enter the URI of the status group.
