A number of server settings can be specified for the IP phone to function correctly on your network. These parameters are listed below with a brief description of their function. This list also includes SIP options that can be specified as well Specifies the location of firmware files that the IP phone will download. FtpServers and TftpServers may not both be specified as the non-null value used to determine the download method for configuration files.

IdleGroupPreference Specifies

which line will be preselected when idle and then used for call origination when the phone goes off-hook. The IdleSelectOrder parameter further defines the policy for selecting a specific physical line key should more than one be assigned to that line. IntercomGroupPreference Specifies which line (should be of GI type) represents the intercom lines on the phone. For key system mode, set this to the GI configured line. It appears on the phone as Intercoms. LineSeizeFailure Enables or disables playing a recorded tone if the user attempts to seize an SCA line, but fails (e.g., another user seizes the call first).

PreselectAnswer

Allows the user to answer an incoming call by pressing the line key on a ringing line. If the phone is idle, pressing the line key will activate the speakerphone. PreselectOriginate Allows the user to originate a call when an idle line key is pressed. If the phone is idle, the speakerphone is activated. PostSelectAutoHold Enables placing deselected calls on hold automatically if another line is selected. Otherwise, the deselected call will be dropped.
