Ping Test The Ping Test can verify network connectivity by checking the ability to ping a valid IP address. Use the following steps to perform a ping test: 1. Select 5 from the Diagnostics menu. 2. Using the keypad, enter the IP address to ping. (Be sure the IP address you enter is valid and accessible.)

Backlight Test 

The Backlight diagnostic option verifies the LCD screen backlighting feature is functioning. Use the following steps to test the backlight: 1. Select 6 from the Diagnostics menu. 2. Select the Off soft key. If working properly, the backlight will turn off. 3. Select the On soft key. The backlight should turn back on. 4.
