Sets the message digest 5 (MD5) hash of the password to access the administrator’s Web page. This password is saved in flash memory after a value has been received in a config file so it can be enforced on subsequent reboots. It is cleared by the restore factory defaults command. Only the password in the hashed string can be changed. The admin:Adtran: part cannot be changed.

The following tables list all of the parameters found in the configuration files downloaded to each phone at boot up. Table 12 below spans several pages and covers the Configuration Parameters. Table 13 on page 78 covers only the Line Parameters. The Source column defines the methods that can be used to change or set the parameter including editing the configuration file, manually entering the setting from the phone’s user interface, accessing the settings through the administrator’s Web interface, or using DHCP site-specific option. The default settings are called out in the Description column. If no default is given, there is no default setting present for that command.
