MOTOROLA MVME188A-4P Sequence control card

A three-phase synchronous motor (type 8LSA45) with a nominal speed of 3000 min-1 was selected for an application. Because of the construction, the cables can only be connected on the top of the motor ("top" connection direction). The motor should also be equipped with a holding brake, a keyed shaft and a 512 line EnDat single-turn encoder. The code (ee) for the encoder system is E0 (see table 3 "Technical data for EnDat encoders" on page 23). The code (nnn) for a rated speed of 3000 min-1 is 030. The code (ff) for the other options (oil seal, holding brake, keyed shaft and connection direction) is C3 (see table 8 "Order key code. Therefore the model number for the motor required is: 8LSA45.E0030C300-0

A three-phase synchronous motor (type 8LSA56) with a nominal speed of 4500 min-1 was selected for an application. Because of the construction, the cables can only be connected on the back of the motor (swivel connectors). The motor should also be equipped with a holding brake, a smooth shaft, an oil seal and a 512 line EnDat multi-turn encoder. The code (ee) for the encoder system is E1 (see table 3 "Technical data for EnDat encoders" on page 23). The code (nnn) for a rated speed of 4500 min-1 is 045. The code (ff) for the other options (oil seal, holding brake, keyed shaft and connection direction) is D8
