RS-232 Terminal Port

The RS-232 terminal port on the AT-8000 Series Switch is described below. The RS-232 Terminal Port is used to establish a local (out-of-band) management session with the switch and to configure the switch’s operating parameters. To establish a local management session, you connect either a terminal or a personal computer with a terminal emulation program to the port.
