The Aries is a torque-only drive. It accepts 5-24 VDC digital input with optional AC control power input. With its Flashbased operating system, the Aries can be upgraded in the field. Circuit protection includes motor-short protection (phase-tophase and ground-to-ground), ESD protection (logic and communication inputs and outputs), short protection (logic and communication outputs) and over-temperature protection (drive and motor thermistor/thermalswitch).
