These bonds shall be located between equipment grounding conductors of associated pumps, fans, blowers, electric heaters, and air cleaners. Bonds shall be made by using braided-type bonding straps. (6) Verify that connections are made with galvanically compatible materials. (7) Verify exothermic-welded connections comply with manufacturer's written instructions. Welds that are puffed up or that show convex surfaces indicating improper cleaning are not acceptable. (8) Verify proper lugs are used for the appropriate cable size.
