With the automatic control loop settings, the velocity and position control loops are completely automatically parametrized. This uses a new command "D900 Command automatic loop tuning" in the drive. In conjunction with Drivetop the command "D9 Automatic control loop settings" can be started in the Drivetop dialog "Parameter / Automatic control loop settings". 

The user can effect

via the socalled attenuating fator, the resulting control loop dynamics. This mans that no further control technically knowledge is needed to make control loop settings. Additionally, at the end of the control loop setting, the determined load moment of inertia and the maximum parametrizable accel are displayed and stored in a parameter.
