The figure below shows the full-wave-bridge, capacitor-input configuration most commonly used to power one or more 6410 drive modules. A single transformer provides isolation and transforms the AC input voltage to a level that, when rectified, provides the desired DC bus voltage. Fusing should be between the rectifier and individual bus capacitors.

This allows fuse size to be based 

upon the current requirements of a single module to provide the greatest protection. The capacitors must be connected to the 6410 DC+ and DC- inputs using twisted pairs no longer than three feet in length as shown to control winding inductive effects. A regen clamp to absorb power transferred from the motor to the 6410(s) is sometimes required. This section provides selection guidelines for the power supply components
