The information block contains various elements detailing specific operation parameters of the hardware. The MVME162 Embedded Controller User’s Manual describes the elements within the board information block, and lists the size and logical offset of each element. The CNFG command does not describe the elements and their use. The board information block contents are checksummed for validation purposes. This checksum is the last element of the block. Although the factory fills all fields except the IndustryPack fields, only these fields MUST contain correct information: ❏ MPU clock speed ❏ Ethernet address ❏ Local SCSI identifier Example: to display the current contents of the board information block.
