The board watchdog can also be enabled for the purpose of monitoring the proper operation of ibaPDA by another system. If the watchdog is enabled then the board will generate an alarm telegram when the acquisition is not running for more than 2 seconds. The alarm telegram can only be used by the FO output channels (I/O Manager: “Outputs”). Therefore an extension module ibaFOB-4o or an ibaFOB-io- or 2io- board is required.

Board and firmware information

Functions for service and support, such as reloading the FPGA and updating the firmware are available on this tab.A firmware update should only be performed after consulting the iba support. By means of thebutton, you open the “Firmware loader” dialog. Here you can select and load the correct file.
