Preventive Maintenance 

Check mounting screws and tighten if necessary. The gaps between load cell and plates should be checked to ensure that they do not get clogged with dirt, causing shunt force past the load cell. Clean the gaps with compressed air if necessary. The cable between the load cell and the junction box is subjected to possible damage and should be checked and replaced if necessary
