Winding resistance measurement by Current-Voltage method 

In the bridge method measurement, the principle is the comparison of unknown resistance with a known resistance. This will be accomplished to make the current flowing through Galvanometer to zero by bringing the arms of the bridge into the equilibrium. The lower resistances with (<1ohm) are measured by Thomson (Kelvin) Bridge, the resistances with relatively higher ( ≥1 ohm) are measured by Wheatstone Bridge. By this means, the measurement errors are minimized.
