While MAC112D-0-ED-2-C/180-A-0/S011 sends the switch control signal to the frequency converter, in order to meet the requirements of the elevator, the frequency converter needs to complete the speed detection and feedback of the motor through the pulse generator and PG card which are coaxially connected with the squirrel-cage traction motor to form a closed-loop system. The pulse generator outputs A and B two-phase pulses. After the PG card receives the pulse signal, it feeds it back to the converter for operation and adjustment.

According to the phase sequence of A and B pulses, the rotation direction of the motor can be determined, and the speed of the motor can be measured according to the frequency of A and B pulses. Because the MAC112D-0-ED-2-C/180-A-0/S011 is a general-purpose inverter, its parameter setting and external circuit design are far more complex than the elevator dedicated inverter, and its setting will also directly affect the actual effect of elevator operation.
