The current and speed double closed-loop circuit adopts KOKUSAI BALEXT-SMP 1 frequency converter. The frequency converter itself is equipped with a current detection device, thereby forming a current closed-loop; Through the rotary encoder coaxial connected with the motor, a and b two-phase pulses are generated to enter the frequency converter, and the pulse count is used to form the speed closed-loop while confirming the direction.

BALEXT-SMP 1 can basically meet the requirements by adopting frequency conversion and double-loop control, but it needs further improvement compared with foreign high-performance elevators. This design is based on this idea. While using the existing rotary encoder to form the speed loop, the PG card of the frequency converter outputs the pulse number proportional to the motor speed and elevator displacement, and introduces it into the high-speed counting input port 0000 of the PLC. Through the cumulative pulse number, the pulse equivalent is calculated by formula (1) to determine the elevator position.
