In the design of the bottom control system of the rubber mixing production line, METASYS NU-NCM350-8 is used as the main controller, the industrial control computer (IPC) is used as the monitoring station, and is connected with the management layer through Ethernet. The field control layer uses Profibus-DP as a link to connect the main intelligent instruments and intelligent equipment on the site. A small number of equipment uses RS-485 serial communication due to the limitation of communication function or comprehensive consideration of the cost of transformation, to strengthen the intuitive understanding and interaction function of the personnel at each station on the site for production information.

The master station PLC is responsible for exchanging information with the superior monitoring level IPC, and communicating with other intelligent devices (including the other two PLCs) through NU-NCM350-8.
