NI SCXI-1346 CPU card

This is a double-width backplane module, which can receive the 68-pin cable from the E-series data acquisition card or the previous chassis, and output another 68-pin cable to the next chassis. You need n-1 SCXI-1346 modules, where n is the number of chassis in the system. On the last chassis, you need a traditional SCXI-1349 shielded cable assembler. SH6868-EP cable or SH1006868 cable (in the case of 100-pin data acquisition card) should be used for the cables between the chassis and the E-series data acquisition card.

There are some specifications to be noted when building SCXI systems with multiple chassis. For cables, the maximum length of the cable between the E-series data acquisition card of the control system and the last chassis is 10 meters. In other words, the total length of cables in the system cannot exceed 10 meters. Similarly, a multi-chassis system can only have 8 chassis at most. Finally, it is important to remember that the maximum sampling rate of 333 kSample/sec is allocated among the chassis.
