   Executing Self-configuration The self-configuration function automatically detects the Option Modules connected to the Machine Controller and automatically generates the files for the Module configuration definitions,GV2-S21C transmission definitions, and SVB definitions. Executing self-configuration will greatly reduce the system startup procedure. The methods used to execute self-configuration are described below.  Setting the CNFG DIP Switch Pin and Cycling Power Self-configuration can be executed by turning ON the CNFG DIP switch pin on the Machine Controller and turning the power OFF and then ON again. The result will depend on the setting of the INIT DIP switch pin.

   Setting the IP Address Prior to make settings for Ethernet connection, the IP address of the personal computer must be set. Set the IP address using the following procedure.  Make the following settings with the LAN cable connected. 1. Click the Windows Start Button and select Settings - Control Panel. 2. Click Internet Options in the All Control Panel Items.
