ABB YM322001-EB Channel relay module

The analog output channels on the YM322001-EB appear to the controlling processor as two 16-bit data words in the address space assigned to the YM322001-EB board. The communication register map shown in Table 4.1-1 lists the board-relative address of each output channel.

Writing to Outputs Digital codes are recognized in the Analog Output Registers as 12-bit binary right-justified data. Data written to the upper four most significant bits (D12 through D15) will be ignored. Table 4.7.1-1 shows the Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) coding conventions used by the DAC. Each output will respond to a new code within 15 µs after the code is written to the Output Register.

Setting the OUTPUT ON-LINE control bit HIGH (Table 4.2-1) connects the analog outputs to the P2 I/O connector for normal system cooperation. Clearing the bit LOW disconnects the analog outputs from P2. However, the output buffers can still be monitored through the self-test multiplexers.
