NI PXI-8232 Instrument control module

Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 488 PXI GPIB instrument control module - PXI ‑ 8232 integrates high-performance GPIB controller and Gigabit Ethernet port into a single-slot module. You can use this module to integrate non-PXI instruments into the PXI system. PXI ‑ 8232 is equipped with Intel 82540EM Gigabit Ethernet controller. The 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet transmission rate based on Fast Ethernet can significantly improve performance while maintaining compatibility with 10BASE ‑ T and 100BASE ‑ TX Fast Ethernet networks. The Ethernet port on PXI ‑ 8232 can also be used as the EtherCAT master station and can be programmed in LabVIEW using NI ‑ Industrial Communications for EtherCAT software. The device includes the license of NI ‑ 488.2 driver software, which can maximize the reliability of GPIB connection with third-party instruments.
