NI PXI-8432/2 Serial instrument control module

2-port, isolated, RS232 PXI serial interface module - PXI ‑ 8432/2 is a high-performance interface for high-speed port ‑ port isolation communication with RS232 devices. It has high-performance DMA transmission, multithreading and multiprocessor support. The NI serial interface can also be used as a standard COM port to be compatible with programs using serial communication.

The PXI-8432/2 are CANopen interface modules of the KeConnect C2 product line. Depending on the line length, the interface operates with a maximum transmission rate of 1 Mbit/s. The connection is made via a 9-pin D-sub plug. The states of the interface are indicated by means of transmission and reception LEDs. The PXI-8432/2 is attached directly to a CPU module or can be operated with all controls by means of a bus coupler. The PXI-8432/2 is inserted directly into the central module of the KeControl C2 product line.
