ABB 1MYN743215-B Series Digital Multifunction Meter is a set of digital multi-function meters suitable for medium voltage and low voltage primary and secondary power distribution applications. It is mainly used to monitor the load and switch status at all levels in medium and low voltage cabinets and distribution cabinets, statistics and analysis of energy consumption information, and achieve equipment online protection and control functions. This series provides a standard communication interface that can communicate with ABB Capability ™ EDCS is seamlessly connected to achieve equipment online protection and control functions.

Fast operation of the ABB 1MYN743215-B also minimizes post-fault load peaks. Together with voltage dips, post-fault load peaks increase the risk of the disturbance spreading to healthy parts of the network. The sensitivity of the protection must be adequate to detect relatively high resistance earth faults and short-circuits in the most distant parts of the network.
